99% of the functions do not work on the New iPad and Apple TV 2012. I want my money back!

Heres why this handy little app is getting such negative ratings: it only lets you mirror a handful of applications: pictures, video, some documents, and the ubiquitous Facebook. I was looking for something that would mirror my exercise apps on the tv and this is NOT it. Cygna, here I come. Sigh.

I needed it to do. My fiancé wanted to be able to display some websites for wedding dresses to her family and this app with its browser widget allowed her to plug her iPad right into the back of the flat-screen TV in the living room via component cable to display dress ideas. It got my sister-in-law OUT of the house much faster than having to pass around the iPad. Thanks TVOut Genie!

Using it on ipad mini with mixed results. Safari, maps, photos work ok. Powerpoint will not display which is what I wanted it for. For those of you having issues you have to keep turning on "tv out" to get things to display.

I have been there and tried it - you should not do the same mistake. The idea is good but the endresult isnt.

This app blows. Id give it no stars if i could only works with the widgets it comes with. Like 5 i wanted to see the games i play on a larger screen.

This is a waste of money. It does not change resolution or aspect ratio (even though this can be coded in the app). It only cuts off the status bar. How useless!

The developer should advertise this as an apple TV mirror for IPod 4 and earlier, IPad 1 and IPhone 4 and earlier just for browsing the web on apple tv 2 and 3 and cables, it should be enough, the other functions are complementary. Users are hammering this great app badly just because they dont know its purpose. Thanks for the developer, I can now see the web through apple tv by my iPod touch 4.

I couldnt get it to work on iPad3 with iOS 6.1.4 with AppleTV3 it sees AppleTV as device but just doesnt show image on AppleTV. Top Right button in PDF viewing interface just shows nothing.

A waste of time, and money. Useless app. Extremely limited in function. See a map on the big screen? Or facetime? Or a website? On my tv. Hey!!! Laptop computers have been invented!!! This app. An error.

In short I would not buy it. The description is deceiving as how it should be connected. I did not work with play it wirelessly. I even connected the iPhone to the TV thru a cable and all I got thru is pictures. The price is way too much for just that. Bad product and deceive sales pitch.

iPhone 4, ios7, myvu crystal at vga resolution it does work but there are few issues: 1. pdf viewer doesn’t work. i can see the pdf on iPhone screen but the tv out shows a blank screen. 2. in landscape mode everything gets trimmed on the sides. there’s no answer from support so far.
